Janet all set for Feb. 4 show

MANILA, Philippines -  It’s all systems go for Janet Jackson’s largest ever world tour that will kick-off in Manila as its first stop on Feb. 4 at the PICC Plenary Hall. After more than a decade and countless more hit songs, Janet will be reunited with her Manila fans as she gets up close and personal performing 35 of her No. 1 hits, including What Have You Done For Me Lately, Nasty, When I Think of You, Control, Let’s Wait Awhile, The Pleasure Principle, Miss You Much, Rhythm Nation, Escapade, Alright, Come Back to Me, Black Cat, Love Will Never Do, The Best Things in Life Are Free, That’s the Way Love Goes, If, Again, Because of Love, Any Time Any Place, Scream (with Michael Jackson), Runaway, Got ‘Til It’s Gone, Together Again, I Get Lonely, Go Deep, What’s It Gonna Be, Doesn’t Really Matter, All For You, Someone to Call My Lover, All Nite, Call on Me, Feedback and her latest No. 1 single, Make Me.

Michael Jackson’s younger sister could have chosen a bigger venue, like the Big Dome, which she could easily fill up at the rate tickets are selling. But she personally chose a more intimate place, the better to interact with her loving fans who have supported her all these years. Janet has also chosen Go Deep as the song dedicated for the city of Manila on her largest ever world tour celebrating 35 No. 1 hits.

Part of Janet’s Janet Number Ones tour will be the dedication of a No. 1 song to each city. “I dedicate Go Deep to all my fans in Manila. It was a dream for me to start my Number Ones — Up Close and Personal tour in your magical city and country. There is a truth in the Philippines that enchants people all over the world. I can’t wait to get there and be with you,” said Janet.

Janet has added her excitement for the upcoming performance in Manila by stating, “I have always loved the Philippines. As a child I’ve felt a connection and passion, for the diversity and uniqueness, of the culture, the passion and the people. I want to bring my moves, my music, and my love to Manila on Feb. 4.”
