Christian celebrates New Year in Pekanbaru, Sumatra

MANILA, Philippines - Christian Bautista, described as ‘Asiansation,’ welcomed 2011 at the Chevrons New Year Countdown Party in Pekanbaru, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Backed up by The Warna-Warni Band, Christian sang 10 songs which were a mix of standards, rock ballads and his hit songs including Tetaplah Dihatiku and Kenangan Terinda.

Present at the event were Chevron heads and employees. It was Christian’s first time to celebrate the New Year in Indonesia.

Christian’s first international full-length film, Jayden’s Choir (produced by Nations Pictures), will premiere in March. —  Reported by CARLO OROSA
