The first Silver Spoon event

MANILA, Philippines - The Legend Villas (TLV) and The Legend Palawan (TLP) recently hosted the first Silver Spoon Event, an appreciation night for the hotels’ select and loyal patrons. The stars were all out as they showed their support to the management team, headed by president and CEO Wyden King and wife Antonia.

Hosted by Phoemela Barranda, highlight of the event was the launch of eight new recipes by friends of TLV & TLP. These will be offered in 2011 at Lola Maria Restaurant.

On hand to present their dishes were Iza Calzado (fish pinipig), Ara Mina (garlic and rosemary rib eye) and Sherilyn Reyes-Tan (ube and langka panna cota), fashion designer Randy Ortiz (vegetable quiche), Wilma Doesnt (fried suman at tsokolate), Ford supermodel winner Danica Magpantay (ensaymada pudding), show car maker Atoy Llave (prawn cakes) and food blogger Anton Diaz (cocido).

As final treat to guests, three sets of flat screen TVs with DVD players were raffled off.
