Life & Style guests TESDA director general

MANILA, Philippines –  Today at 10 a.m., Q-11’s Life and Style with Gandang Ricky Reyes guests Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) director general Joel Villanueva.

Joel says, “I thank Pres. Noynoy Aquino for appointing me head of TESDA because of its commitment in not only training our scholars but also assisting them to find employment here and abroad. Unfortunately for me, the TESDA budget has been decreased. The honorable Mr. President, however, has promised to look into this problem. You see, we want to support more scholars in 2011.”

Host-producer Ricky Reyes is delighted to learn about the TESDA services as well as Joel’s future plans to provide knowledge and eventually generate job opportunities to the Filipinos.

LSWGRR has invited successful TESDA graduates who are either highly paid in their current jobs or have opened their own business. “These successful scholars must be emulated. They are perfect examples of those who did their utmost to be what they are now — entrepreneurs par excellence,” says Ricky.
