Ely Buendia b-day concert on SNBO

MANILA, Philippines - Fans of Ely Buendia (photo) will definitely have a blast as GMA Network airs the rare and intimate birthday concert party of the singer and songwriter dubbed as ELY BUENDIA XL Xtra Live at 40 on Dec. 12, 10:30 p.m. on Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO).

The first and never-to-be-repeated solo concert of Ely features the past two decades of his colorful and successful musical career with special guest performances from his old and new friends in the industry.

Viewers will witness Ely’s thrilling performances with his band Pupil and Dope Militia as he revisits songs from his collaboration album with Francis Magalona, In Love and War; songs from his solo album Wanted: Bedspacer; and some of his personal favorites and selected Eraserheads hit singles like Sembreak, Magasin and Ang Huling El Bimbo.  

One of the highlights of his birthday concert that will certainly get your heart racing was when ex-Eraserheads drummer Raimund Marasigan jammed with him onstage as they performed Saturn Return from the 1998 Eraserheads compilation album, Aloha Milkyway.
