Sped seminar for parents and teachers

Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will also conduct the following seminars: How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special on Dec. 5; Utilizing Instructional & Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, Dec. 12; Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children, Dec. 19; Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a Vital Tool in the SPED Program, Jan. 9; and Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs, Jan. 16.

Basic Sign Language Class will be conducted on Dec. 20 to 21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Seminars and classes are held at Protege SPED Center: Unit F, third floor, 732 N.S. Amoranto St. (formerly Retiro) near cor. Sto. Domingo Ave., Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City. Tel. nos: 0918-3588855; 576-0869; 434-6064. Unless otherwise specified, seminar hours are from 9 a.m. to p.m. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Weekday classes on the above modules may be conducted as per arrangement.
