Loveless but not lonely.

That sums up the current state of Pops Fernandez’s life.

She claimed that she hasn’t had any boyfriend after she broke up with Jomari Yllana more than two years ago but it’s not because she has developed a phobia for men.

“Why should I?” joked Pops. “Life is dry without men.”

Like last year, Pops won’t be spending a blue Christmas even if she, uhm, loveless.

“There are two important men in my life, actually,” added Pops. “My sons Robin and Ram.” Sometimes, three — that is, if we count her ex-husband Martin Nievera who has remained her good friend and, for sure, is “just around” if and when Pops needs him (oops! no “hidden” meaning there, huh!).

So what’s new about Pops?

“This early,” assured Annabelle (who has almost 30 talents in her cuadra), “I’m preparing for Pops’ Valentine concert with Ogie Alcasid on Feb. 12 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Ballroom,” produced by the Gutierrez-owned Royale Artist Management, Inc.
