SPED seminar on inclusion program
MANILA, Philippines - Patricia Muñoz, a fully credentialed special education teacher in California, will hold a seminar on Implementing an Effective Inclusion Program for Children with Special Needs on Nov. 21. She will also hold seminars on Creative Music, a Powerful Therapy Intervention for Children with Special Needs on Nov. 28 with co-facilitator Donna Lim, directress of Within Events and Music School; How to Cope When Your Child or Student is Special, Dec. 7; Utilizing Instructional & Curricular Modifications for Special Needs Students in an Inclusion Program, Dec. 14; Utilizing Effective Strategies to Serve the Needs of Special Children, Dec. 21; and Preparing an Effective Individualized Education Plan (IEP), a Vital Tool in the SPED Program, Jan. 9, 2011.
Seminars and classes are held at Protégé SPED Center: Unit F, third floor, 732 N.S. Amoranto St. (formerly Retiro) near cor. Sto. Domingo Ave., Sta. Seminar hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration starts 8 a.m. Classes on SPED strategies, IEP Writing, Inclusion Program and Basic Sign Language may be conducted as per arrangement.
