Free film screenings at FEU

MANILA, Philippines - Far Eastern University (FEU), through its President’s Committee on Culture, presents FEUlikulahan 3, a three-day film festival which aims to promote appreciation of independent, homegrown and foreign films among FEU students and the public.

It will run from Nov. 17 to 19 at the historic FEU Auditorium and will showcase films such as Tulak, The Rebels and a screening of the Velvet Revolution on its 21st anniversary along with a speech on the Velvet Revolution by Ambassador Josef Rychtar of the Embassy of the Czech Republic.

The second day will feature the films, A Journey Home, Grandma, Idol: Pag-Asa ng Bayan, Dinig and a lecture on the Czech Republic by Monika Kazdova from the Embassy of the Czech Republic. On Nov. 19, Sigwa, Fe and Bunso will be screened. FEU Makati will join the festival on Nov. 19 with a screening of Velvet Revolution  and You Make the World Fun.

The event is made possible with the cooperation of the FEU Central Student Organization, the Embassy of the Czech Republic, Active Vista Films, Exogains Productions, Echo and MirageMedia, Beginnings at Twenty Plus, Inc. and Leb Telon Film Productions.
