Melbourne journey with Mel & Joey

MANILA, Philippines –  Part two of the four-part Mel & Joey sixth anniversary special will be presented tonight. Destination is Melbourne, Australia.

In Syeteng Syete with Joey, seven interesting and distinct traits and habits of Melbourne inhabitants will be enumerated while Mel interviews Kapuso Charlie Yao in his beautiful house in Hanep Bahay. Charlie’s wife Rose will relate how a former public school teacher in Navotas became a successful businesswoman in Australia.

Other successful Pinoys to be featured are college scholar Jemelyn and award-winning director Al Novelasco. Jemeleyn will share the hardships she had experienced to acquire the scholarship while Novelasco takes pleasure in recounting the hard work he did to establish the first Pinoy Television Channel in that foreign place.

MJ visits the renowned antique Como House and Garden where furniture, fixtures and decors of the rich and famous Australians of yesteryear are preserved. Eureka Skydeck, Melbourne’s highest peak where tourists can view the whole city, will also be featured.

Mel & Joey airs Sundays on GMA 7. The show’s forthcoming third and fourth special episodes will highlight New Zealand.
