Intense showdown in Star Power 15

MANILA, Philippines –  Rheena, Camille, Glaiza, Cristelle and Jizelle were the first five eliminated on ABS-CBN’s Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar last Sunday.

Gary V., Vina Morales and Zsa Zsa Padilla gave pieces of advice to the Star Power 20.

“When you step out on the stage, tandaan nyo na suportado namin kayo dito sa ASAP, dahil alam namin that you’ll give 100 percent of yourself. God bless you girls,” Gary V told the finalists.

For Vina, the Star Power 20 must really have no room for giving up. “Reach for the stars and never lose hope. You’ll have to give your best. Pray harder.”

In today’s edition of Star Power after Rated K, the remaining 15 Star Power finalists must battle it out with songs of gratitude. 

Akiko Solon sings Yeng Constantino’s Salamat for her supportive father Achilles while Ninay Lescano renders I’ll Be There For You for her dad. 

For Pauline Lutero, Bette Midler’s Wind Beneath My Wings is the best song that can describe her thanks to her parents. Joy Laquinario dedicates Deniece William’s song Healing for dad Jun. 

Kaye Racho performs There You’ll Be for OFW father Narciso while Peter Cetera’s You’re the Inspiration is the song Macy delos Reyes dedicates to vocal coach Dennis.

Greatest Love of All inspires Canada-based K-la Rivera to thank mom Agnes. Mia Flores would like to thank another Agnes through her performance of By Your Side.

Natasia Cunanan dedicates You Are My Song to mom Ruby. Sarah Geronimo’s Dahil Minahal Mo Ako is Rose Ann Francisco’s song of thanks for her mom.

Laurice Bermillo sings Angels Brought Me Here for mom Mary Ann while Angeline Quinto offers her guardian Paano Kita Papasalamatan.

Sam Hernandez sings Thanks to You for mom Elizabeth. Krissel Valdez offers So Very Happy to grandfather Aristedes. I Can is Monica Sacay’s way of thanking aunt Josephine. 

Donna Cruz, Mikee Cojuangco and Regine Velasquez’s collaboration in I Can will be Monica Sacay’s (Leyte) inspiration in thanking her aunt Josephine who served as her guardian since childhood.
