Hair Asia's cosmetic trade fair

MANILA, Philippines - On Nov. 16, Hair Asia, in partnership with some of the country’s leading personal care giants, will again hold the Metro’s biggest and most exciting cosmetic trade fair at the World Trade Center.

Bargain-hunting Christmas shoppers will get their hands on tons of cosmetics, beauty products and personal care paraphernalia at discounted prices. There will be freebies, samplings and free applications from the trade booths.

Hair Asia is joined by four hair-care industry leaders in sponsoring the event: Inoa and Matrix by L’Oreal Professionnel, Clairol USA and Beauty Lane.

Inoa is the latest in hair coloring technology by L’Oreal Professionnel which uses the revolutionary Oil Delivery System for optimum color, protection and shine. The breakthrough system negates the use of ammonia in the treatment, making Inoa the first permanent color that is odorless and ammonia-free.

Matrix, the salon professional brand from the US, renowned for its superior haircare innovations, will conduct live demonstrations on its new Sensoria Care Treatment. P&G is flying in two of its global experts  Clairol Professional Lead Color Master Educator Anita Guiterrez of France and Clairol Professional Artistic Director Danny Lapointe of Canada - to give live instructionals on the Clairol technology in the whole-day event.

The Cosmetic Trade Fair coincides with Hair Asia’s 2010 Salon Spectacular 2010  Battle of the Champions. Salon Spectacular assembles the best and brightest undiscovered hairdressers hoping to make a breakthrough into the big leagues. Throughout the day, ingénues will battle it out in various categories to get a chance to be hailed overall champion in one of the most respected arenas in the Philippine hairdressing circle.

The grand champion will attend a short course at the exclusive and very posh Vidal Sassoon Academy in Shanghai. The winner will also get the chance to be noticed and acknowledged by the competition’s board of judges comprised of the Philippine hairdressing industry’s crème de la crème: Patrick Rosas, James Cooper, Philip Louie Kee, Bambbi Fuentes, Jude Hipolito and Rose Velasco, just to name a few.
