Star City goes pirate adventure

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Fred Elizalde (left), chairman of the FJE Group of Companies, which counts among its businesses the operation of the country’s most popular amusement park, and his wife Lisa Macuja-Elizalde (second from right), artistic director of Ballet Manila, cut the ceremonial ribbon inaugurating Pirate Adventure as Star City’s newest attraction. Joining them were members of Black Pearl Philippines, a costume role-play group dressed as pirate characters led by Capt. Jack Sparrow.

Star City is now open daily, from 4 p.m. onwards Mondays through Thursdays, and 2 p.m. onwards on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. For details, call 833-4483.
