Scarenival on Nickelodeon

MANILA, Philippines - This Halloween, if you have seen all things nasty and mean, maybe this time you will like something “slimy and green.” Nickelodeon challenges you to a different kind of dare guaranteed to give you an exciting Halloween scare with Scarenival — a carnival of the kooky and the spooky happening on Oct. 31, from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Music Hall of SM Mall Of Asia.

Until Oct. 30, Nicksters can score one free ticket to Nickelodeon’s Scarenival event for a minimum purchase of P1,000 worth of toys (inclusive of Halloween items) at participating Toy Kingdom and Toy Kingdom Express stores. Kids can log on to www.nick-asia.com/scarenival and find out how they can win tickets. Each ticket is good for two persons.

It’s not just a day but a whole month “scare-lebration” with Nickelodeon at the SM Mall of Asia. The spook is on every weekend with the Scarenival activity booths and photo walls mounted at the mall. Want to know your fate? Make your way to the (Mis)Fortune Teller photo wall where you can stick your head inside a “crystal ball” owned by a jumpy gypsy or the Wheel of Fate where it would look like you’re a part of an odd carnival act. Now, how’s that for a scary souvenir? And if you want to win fun prizes, you can try your luck at game booths such as the Skull Cruncher and the I bowl, Eye ball!

On Oct. 31, wear your creepiest costume and make your way to the Scarenival gates by 3 p.m. at the Music Hall for a howling Halloween.

Enter the Fun House and see what strange things await. Jump and be amazed by the mirror maze in the Hall of Mirrors (check your reflection but don’t forget to double check who is behind you). Watch how your world will turn upside down in the Topsy Turvy Room. Catch the creepy freak show at the Ghastly Gallery. Enter a room and wonder which among the many exit doors to take and enjoy an eerie Air Raising Experience. You will be altogether surprised, challenged and startled by the wacky whimsicality of things at the Fun House. If you can no longer handle the horror, don’t fret and don’t fear because — although you have to search for it — a “panic” exit door is near.

Apart from the Fun House, there is a scary slew of Nickified carnival-themed games, amazing magic tricks and awesome prizes.   But remember to come in your best Halloween get-ups because kids with the most creative and u-NICK costumes will take home a nice surprise. 

Of course, don’t miss the scare-the-hair-out-of-you surprise by SpongeBob SquarePants.

From start to finish, Nickelodeon is sure to fill your Hallow’s Eve with a scare-lebration like no other.
