American leading man for Rosa del Rosario

Rosa del Rosario starred in several films with American actors as leading men, one of which was Kuwentong Kapit-Bahay (1952), written and directed by Conde Ubaldo. The actor is Bob Nelson. Serialized on DZRH, the story revolved around a barrio girl pursued by an American Soldier.

Rose appeared in four American films: Border Bandit, Anna and The King of Siam, Si Malakas at Si Maganda (shot in Hollywood) and American Guerilla in the Philippines (shot in Subic).
