Jacky Woo cast in Hollywood pic
MANILA, Philippines - Japanese actor Jacky Woo (photo, left) happily reported from Sofie, Bulgaria, that he’s enjoying the shoot of Super Tanker, a Hollywood sci-fi movie produced by Phillip Roth (photo, right).
Roth is said to be “so pleased” with Jacky’s performance that he’s already offering Jacky two more films. “I’m more than happy to do them,” said Jacky who is suggesting to Roth to include Filipino actors in the cast.
“There are many talented Asian actors making it in Hollywood,” added Jacky.
Keeping his fingers crossed, Jacky said that he hoped to help Filipino actors get a chance to showcase their talent in Hollywood.
Jacky considers the Philippines his second home; he so loves the Filipinos that’s why he keeps on producing indie films to help prop up the country’s movie industry.
