Revenge of the White Lady

MANILA, Philippines - TV5 suspense/drama/horror/comedy series Midnight DJ directed by Lore Reyes and line produced by Angie Samson-Valvieja for Big Top Productions returns to its original time slot starting Sept. 11 after Talentadong Pinoy.

This week’s episode features the return of the White Lady of Balete Drive out to extract revenge on motorists in the area until her mysterious murder is solved and the culprit is behind bars. But the Lady is not the usual foggy and scary image. Instead she utilizes electronic gadgets to scare and kill her victims.

Midnight DJ Samboy (Oyo Sotto) and his gangmates Bodjie (Joaqui Tupas), Andrea (Desiree del Valle), QT (Meg Imperial) and Chief Arthur (John Medina) will try to uncover the mystery behind the rebirth of the urban legend. But can they outwit and defeat the modern-day reinvented killer ghost?

A shoot of the episode was going on along the Balete stretch a strange thing happened… the door in the passenger side of the MDJ van driven by Oyo fell. Thanks to Oyo’s presence of mind, no untoward accident occurred.
