A red-letter day for Kelly Misa

Model and Wowowee host Kelly Misa had a special bridal shower “spa party” recently at Astoria Plaza in Mandaluyong City. On that day, Kelly announced her engagement to non-showbiz guy Carlos Fernandez. Kelly revealed that she chose to keep mum on the status of her relationship since joining Wowowee.

The event was carefully planned by Metro Weddings magazine. Hosted by Nicole Hernandez and Cesca Litton, it featured games, delicious cocktails, spa treatments — facials, back and hand massages, foot spa, manicure and pedicure services. Guests were also treated to a sumptuous meal prepared by Astoria Plaza.

According to Kelly, Carlos proposed to her on a hill near a beach in Batangas. “Nagyaya siyang mag-hike, akyat daw kami ng bundok. At dahil kasama naman lahat ng mga kaibigan namin eh sumama na rin ako. Tapos midway up, nag-propose na siya sa akin in front of everyone. Ayun, iyak na ako nang iyak.”

“Wala pa namang date ang kasal but we plan to tie the knot by the beach. At home kami sa tabing dagat. Yung hindi masyadong formal,” adds Kelly.
