Ambassadors of Light performs today

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Ambassadors of Light (photo) composed of visually-impaired but musically talented young singers led by its founder Anderson Go (seated) will kick off the observance of National Disability and Rehabilitation Week with a concert today, 5:30 p.m. at the National Commission of Culture and the Arts auditorium in Intramuros, Manila.

The concert serves as a send-off performance of AOL who are leaving on July 29 for Japan upon the invitation of Tanpopo-No-Ye Foundation to perform in Japan celebrating the 1300th foundation anniversary of Nara City, the ancient capital of Japan.

The concert is mounted by the artistic group composed of Go, the first unsighted School of Music graduate of the Philippine Women’s University, Gloria Jamandre and Titus Javier.
