Prizes, big savings in Devant promo

MANILA, Philippines - Home entertainment innovator Devant recently teamed up with Pioneer Films for an exclusive promotion that puts the spotlight on two of the most popular names in entertainment: Devant, makers of ground-breaking home electronics and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, the third film in the phenomenal Twilight Saga series based on the books by Stephanie Mayer.

Dubbed Power of 2: An Eclipse Blockbuster Deal by Devant, the promo offers consumers the chance to own two Devant 37” LCD TVs for only P64,950. They also get two NextBase HDMI Players, Wall Bracket, and HDMI Cable for free. Total savings from availing of this package is nearly P12,000. In conjunction with the theatrical release of Eclipse, opening tomorrow June 30, the Power of 2 promo is ongoing until July 31.

“We are very excited about Power of 2 because of the huge savings it offers to customers. It’s a rare treat — just like Eclipse. It’s not every day that something like this happens: One blockbuster Devant deal and one blockbuster film,” says Lara Lua, advertising and promotions manager for Devant.

Devant’s promotion includes sponsorship of Magic 89.9’s Eclipse Premiere Night today, June 29 at Cinema 6 in Glorietta 4, Makati. The Power of 2 radio plug will be aired on Magic 89.9 until end of July while Devant products including exclusive Devant-Eclipse shirts will be raffled off during the premiere night.

Twilight Saga series followers and mall shoppers will be delighted when they visit the Devant Exhibit Caravan at SM Megamall, Ocampo’s Bataan, Saver’s Olongapo and magic nepo Mall Dagupan until tomorrow, June 30; Magic Mall at Urdaneta, June 21 to July; Automatic Appliance Fair at Trinoma Activity Center, July 5 to 21; and at Robinsons Appliance Fair at Robinsons Ermita from July 23 to 30 wherein Devant-Eclipse shirts will be given away with every qualifying purchase.

Devant will also be having a nationwide raffle promo with SM Cinema starting tomorrow, June 30 until July 18. For every purchase of one The Twilight Saga: Eclipse ticket at any SM Cinema, the moviegoer is entitled to one raffle coupon. At stake are 100 Eclipse T-shirts as consolation prizes and one Devant 37” LCD TV as grand prize. Grand draw is on July 30. Another thing to watch out for is the new Devant LEDTech LCD TV playing the Eclipse trailer at SM Cinema in Megamall, North Edsa, The Block, Marikina and Mall of Asia.

Spruced up for the event and showcasing a looped Devant-Eclipse video plug, the Devant product displays and dress-up with Eclipse-themed collaterals in appliance stores nationwide promise to heighten the excitement surrounding the Power of 2 promotion and the cinema debut of Eclipse.
