A boy for Juday & Ryan

Yes, Judy Ann “Juday” Santos and Ryan Agoncillo will be parents sometime in October or November.

It’s a boy!!!

The couple married on April 28 last year in a very secret, very exclusive and very “off-limits” wedding in the same small church in a small town in Batangas where Ryan’s parents were also married.

“They learned about their baby’s gender the other day (Tuesday),” said the Funfare DPA. “Muntik nang tumalon ni Juday sa tuwa after the ultrasound, kaya lang bawal kasi nga she’s into her fourth month of pregnancy.”

Juday and Ryan just came back from an extended vacation in California, instead of Europe which was in the original itinerary before Juday learned that she was pregnant last March. The good news was broken by soon-to-be Papa Ryan on Eat, Bulaga! in which he’s one of the co-hosts.

As of presstime, the couple hasn’t chosen the boy’s name yet or whether Juday will give birth by Caesarian section or the natural way (Lamaze, maybe?).

Ruffa’s Lorin honor student

Here’s a text message from proud mom Ruffa Gutierrez:

Dear Family, Ninongs, Ninangs and close Friends. As the school year 2009-2010 comes to an end, I would like to share what a proud mom I am!

My first-born, Lorin Gabriella (Bektas, photo), is 1st Grade honor student. She received five (5) achievement awards: Superior Academic Ability by achieving the HIGHEST GRADE in Catholic Formation and Language Arts, APOSTLESHIP AWARD for constantly working to bring Christ’s message to others, LEADERSHIP AWARD and SEMPER ALTIUS AWARD (the highest award of Everest Academy) for demonstrating diligence and perseverance by significantly improving her performance in Integral Formation.

I was in tears as I watched Lorin go on stage with a wide, beaming smile each time her name was called. There’s no greater reward for a parent than to see her child excel in all that they do. Go, fight, win Lorin!!!
