Mel & Joey pays tribute to mothers

MANILA, Philippines - Tomorrow night, GMA 7’s Mel & Joey will pay tribute to and recognize mothers.

Hosts Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon feature Nonet, a mother who sacrificed her own career to take care of her disabled child. They visit Mommy Mildred Cadaweng who still grieves the untimely demise of her son Marky Cielo, StarStruck Ultimate Survivor 2006.

Listen to the tearful account of two mothers who lost their loved ones in the hands of still unpunished culprits. Nianne Alcantara’s 10-year-old son Amiel was run over at the Ateneo parking lot while Edith Burgos’ son Jonas was kidnapped by unidentified three years ago.

Childless couples resort to looking for babies they adopt legally but others hire a babymaker. Mel & Joey has a special VTR interview with a woman who shamelessly admits to being a babymaker three times.
