Comedy Bar preems April 24

MANILA, Philippines - Beginning tomorrow, April 24, GMA 7 offers a new twist to late-night viewing with Comedy Bar, a weekly hour-long program which aims to give viewers the ultimate comedy bar experience in the comfort of their own homes.

It airs every Saturday and is hosted by Allan K and Eugene Domingo. Using their peerless brand of humor, the two will make televiewers watch stand-up comedy up close.

Joining the fun is Brapanese model and actor Fabio Ide, the show’s resident hunk. Providing the live music is a group of talented young musicians collectively known as Six Feet Long composed of Jay Perillo, Michael Gemina, Weckl Mercado, Iean Iñigo, Tim Mallilin and Ivan Espinosa.

Aside from offering spot performances and musical comedy stunts typical in a stand-up comedy bar, the show doubles as a platform for up-and-coming comedians to showcase their undiscovered knack for impromptu comedy. Well-known names in comedy and music scene will make surprise appearances.
