All out for Andi

Andi Eigenmann is one of the most exciting young faces in showbiz. The daughter of actors Mark Gil and Jacklyn Jose, Andi is now establishing a name for herself. She is Agua Bendita, and people now call her by that name proof of how widely watched her teleserye is. Agua Bendita is one of ABS-CBN’s top-rating teleseryes. It is Andi’s launching show where she plays the dual character of Agua and Bendita.

Chubby as a teener, Andi worked hard to lose weight. She followed a very strict diet, indulged herself in sports and after four months, she lost 35 pounds. “Kahit na sexy si Andi, hindi siya malaswang tingnan. If she wears something like Agua’s outfit, I don’t mind at all. I trust her so much,” said Jacklyn. Mark is proud of his daughter. “Wherever I go, people tell me hindi ba ikaw ang daddy ni Agua?”

The entire Eigenmann family is all out in support of Andi’s career including aunt Cherie Gil, and half brother Sid Lucero. “I am not surprised if she is doing well. She deserves everything. I think she was made for this,” explained Sid.

Cherie’s advice for Andi, “Concentrate, focus, save, no boys first, okey lang let them follow, while Mark has this to say, “Always focus on the craft and everything else will follow. I am truly very proud of you.”

“Ang tawag sa kanya, Agua, meaning people are watching her show,” said Jaclyn who sometimes visits Andi on the set of Agua. “My heart is smiling for you. You just don’t know how happy I am to see you smile genuinely. I love you so much and I will always be here for you. The two of us, no secrets, you and me, forever.”

Here are a few things about Andi: She was born on June 25, 1990 and was christened Andrea Nicole Guck Eigenmann. Aunt Cherie used to borrow her as a toddler. Andi was spoiled as a child. At the playground, she was the boss. She was a very shy girl that when people would ask her if she wanted to be a star she would readily say no! She played a part in Prinsesa ng Banyera. “Wala naman siyang ambition or dreams to become a star. Before, she just wanted to have a billboard along Katipunan avenue. Yon lang,” added artJacklyn.

From Sam to Anne

Sam Milby and Anne Curtis’ new starrer Babe I Love You proved to be a box office hit, cementing the duo’s reputation as box office stars. Last Holy Week, Anne enjoyed her vacation in Bangkok with friends. Sam, on the other hand, did a concert tour in America. And when they arrived (although not simultaneously), they were greeted with the good news that their movie was a huge hit.

Anne tweeted that she has a new “boyfriend” that keeps her awake until the wee hours of the morning. Her new “boyfriend” is an Ipad which Sam gave her. “Yon ang pasalubong niya sa akin. What I did was, put in the applications that I want and I slept close to 3 a.m .because of my new “boyfriend.”

After Anne tweeted, people have been asking who gave her, her new toy? “Hindi naman talaga mawawala whatever it is that I feel for Sam. It will always stay,” explained Anne.

No nip-slip for Karylle

There was no nip-slip for Karylle like what some wags have been circulating. Karylle wore a protective tape to secure her breasts in case of wardrobe malfunction. The alleged breast exposure was tampered. “Parang patong. Edited siya. Pag nilapitan mo parang pixilized na siya,” said Jojo Abelgas, a graphic artist.

The photo in question made it to the front page of some tabloids and was a big hit in Facebook. The wardrobe malfunction happened in Boracay during the taping of ASAP XV 11. ABS CBN’s Marie Lozano wrote in her Twitter, “There was wardrobe malfunction but not much was exposed because Karylle was wearing a nipple tape. Technically, there was no nip-slip”

Close friend Sid Lucero is pissed off. “I can’t help but feel angry and I was affected. I just wish that people will respect women more and show some sensitivity. It’s so low.”
