First Time stars in party mood

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Joshua Dionisio, Jhake Vargas, Bea Binene and Barbie Forteza join the premiere of GMA 7’s Sunday musical/variety program, Party Pilipinas!

Beginning March 28, First Time stars will pump up Sunday afternoons with the latest dance craze and perform the most recent songs that are hit to Pinoys here and abroad.

In First Time, the characters played by Barbie, Joshua, Jhake and Bea unveil the hot issues that most common teenagers face today in and out of school. Although they maybe today’s hottest teen celebrities, the four Kapuso talents are just like today’s typical young Pinoy barkadas united by their common interests.

In Party Pilipinas, they will showcase their common interests in dancing and music, which are the fundamentals of a party.

The stars of First Time, who have been good friends since last year, shared that they enjoy performing the latest dance hits especially hip-hop. According to Joshua, he started dancing when he was 11 while Jhake began strutting his moves when he joined showbiz a few years ago. Barbie and Bea admit they love dancing hip-hop and are even willing to undergo series of workshops to perform the latest dance steps.

When it comes to music, however, the choices of these young stars vary. For Barbie and Bea, listening to the songs of Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne and Taylor Swift can complete their day.

The boys of First Time, on the other hand, prefer listening to love songs and rock music. Both Jhake and Joshua, who play musical instruments like guitar and piano. To add more fun to the revelry, the boys revealed they are willing to sing and perform acoustic numbers in Party Pilipinas!
