Bugoy sings OPM in second album

MANILA, Philippines - Bugoy Drilon (photo) is busy and blessed as his second album under Star Records is out.

Bugoy has taken a big leap in his career when the song from his first album titled Paano Na Kaya? invaded the radio hit charts nationwide. With the listeners’ positive response, Star Records didn’t think twice in giving Bugoy a second album. He is also fortunate since Paano Na Kaya? was used as the official soundtrack in a recent Star Cinema movie with the same title.

“Bugoy deserves all the accolades. He not only sings well. You will feel that he is passionate sa kanyang trabaho. Everytime he sings, you will feel that he sings from the heart,” Star Records managing director Annabelle Regalado-Borja shares.

Bugoy believes his success is a combination of luck and hard work. “Yung tinatamasa ko pong tagumpay ngayon ay siguro po dahil sa suwerte at tiyaga na rin po. I believe that you don’t just need luck. You must also work hard,” Bugoy says.

Produced by Vehnee Saturno, Bugoy’s second album has OPM love songs that bring back happy memories. Tracks include Lumayo Ka Man Sa Akin, Dahil Tanging Ikaw, Hindi Na Bale (carrier single), Ikaw ang Mamahalin, Pagkat Mahal Kita, Sana’y Ibigin Mo and a bonus track Paano Na Kaya?.

Hindi Na Bale is enjoying massive airplay on radio stations nationwide and is the sub-love theme song on ABS-CBN’s Tanging Yaman.

Bugoy is promoting his single and album in different malls both in Metro Manila and in the provinces. On March 27, he will be in Cavite as part of 101.9 fm radio event. On April 11, he will be at SM Marilao. He goes to Bagaberde on May 1.

Bugoy’s second album is available in all record bars nationwide.
