Manny Valera opens art gallery

MANILA, Philippines - Talent manager and supervising producer Manny Valera (photo) is excited over the grand opening of his RAVE Art Gallery tomorrow, March 20, 6 p.m. at Scout Magbanua cor. Roces Ave., Quezon City.

‘After being an art collector for many years, opening my own gallery is a dream come true. RAVE is actually an acronym for Rufina Astudillo Valera (my late mother’s name) and Emmanuel (my first name). My beloved mother has always been my inspiration to be better. Rave Art Gallery can also mean art patrons will rave about the pieces of artists participating in the exhibit present and future,’ says Valera.

Featured artists are Ibarra Delarosa, Federico Alcuaz, Onib Olmedo, Al Perez, Jun Tiongco, Remy Boquiren, Fernando Seña, Gig de Pio, Emmanuel Garibay, Lito Barcelona, Nik Masangcay, Mike Austria, Menchu Arandilla, Armida Francisco and Roland Santos.

Other artists on opening night are Ronna Manansala, Khristine Manansala, Jose Hombrebueno, Ted Madela, Aris Bagtas, Giovanni dela Rosa, William Cadag, Joel Cristobal, Jo Florendo, Alen Casacop, Emerson Casacop, Abu Urag, Howard Jao, Gil Canatoy, Noli Española, Vic Bachaco, Eman Santos, Gani Fuentes, Andy Pernia, Buboy Dinapo, Ysa Gernale, Munzar Lanario, Oying Madrilejos, Edgar Parducho, Lawton Ladao, Rico Tompong, Richard Rosete, Dennis Diego, Robert Fernandez, Maia Magpantay, Josephine Neffe, Jade Micael, Buboy Dinapo, Jocel Tabudlo, Nor dela Cruz, Benedict Abigan, Jun Morondoz, Joseph Clavita and Eric Mercado.
