Rihanna returns to Manila

MANILA, Philippines - In a manner of speaking, that is.

After the rousing success of her concert here last year at The Fort, Taguig City, Rihanna is returning to Manila to promote her latest album, Russian Roulette, in a partnership with Nokia and Universal Music Group which will bring Rihanna’s music to an even bigger digital audience via Nokia’s latest device, the Nokia X6.

Described as ‘slim and sexy like Rihanna,’ the Nokia X6 is a full touch-screen music phone that has a whopping interna; 16GB memory that can be filled up with all your favorite Rihanna tracks (including Umbrella from her previous hit album). Nokia X6 users will also be given a voucher that allows them to get Rihanna downloads, three tracks from her critically-acclaimed Rated R album, five Rihanna wallpapers and one of Rihanna’s button-pushing, trend-setting music videos.

On March 13, Nokia will host three big parties to celebrate the partnership in Manila hotspots Bed, The Manor and Encore. At 12 midnight, DJs in Bed and Encore will play some of Rihanna’s club-thumpers while in Manor bands from Nokia’s Independent Artists Club will play some of Rihanna’s hits.
