Golden boy Raffy Tulfo

MANILA, Philippines - Broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo will turn 50 years old.

Raffy will have a grand celebration on March 12, 6 p.m. at the Garden Ballroom of the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.

Raffy, known as Mr. Action-Agad for his strong and straightforward commentaries on government and private sector issues via his radio show Wanted Sa Radyo, will take things easy on the night of his birthday celebration.

“This will be a night to celebrate,” Tulfo says. “I will be with my family, friends and other people who I have worked with and helped throughout my entire career as a broadcast journalist. This is going to be a great birthday because I am turning 50. I am so thankful that I am still here working and helping more people.”

It will be a star-studded birthday bash for Tulfo because big names from the world of politics, business and entertainment will be there to greet him.

Expect to see senators Loren Legarda, Pia Cayetano,   Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., Chiz Escudero, Jinggoy Estrada, Lito Lapid, Miguel Zubiri and Peter Allan Cayetano; representatives Ronald Singson, Ruffy Biazon, Faustino Dy III, Eduardo Zialcita and Del de Guzman.

Also invited are Gov. Obet Pagdanganan, Mayor Edward Hagedorn, Mayor JV Ejercito, Mayor Toby Tiangco, Mayor Recom Echeverri, Sec. Leandro Mendoza and Sec. Mike Defensor.

Ara Mina, Rufa Mae Quinto, Cristine Reyes, Aubrey Miles, Valerie Concepcion, Alessandra de Rossi, Ethel Booba, Julia Lopez, Princess Ryan, Saicy Aguila, Wowowee Girls, FHM Girls Jacq Yu and Cherry Kobota, Playboy Philippines cover girl Abby Poblador, Arpie and The Multivitamins Band will provide the entertaintment. Comedian Mang Enriquez hosts.
