Zooperstars on GMA Feb. 28

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Beginning Feb. 28, animals will take center stage as you learn about their abilities like you’ve never known before on GMA 7’s Zooperstars.

Hosted by Gelli de Belen, along with Panday Kids’ Julian Trono and Sabrina Man (photo), the animal talent/magazine show puts together six segments to make way for an enjoyable and holistic learning experience.

Can your pet sing, dance, compute, juggle and whatnot? Prove it by competing in Zooperstars, a talent contest judged by animal experts and celebrities.

Then invade the houses of celebrity pet owners in Zooper Sikat. Await a politician’s “painting pig” or know the “famous host” who spoils an Achilles Tang Fish with a 24/7 air conditioner and maid service. Continue meeting other remarkable pets in Zoopah Pets, where the likes of Ava, a wealthy Shih Tzu who threw a grand birthday celebration for the benefit of cats will be featured.

Believing that all pets are priceless, a Lost Pet and Found bulletin was set up as well so masters could not only post their missing pet but also announce successful searches via a heartwarming reunion in the studio.

Certainly, animal discovery would not be complete without the PET Files, where interesting animal trivia abound and Zooprise where a mind-blowing animal like a fish with bones that would not bend or a guinea pig with hair as sharp as that of porcupines is tagged as “animal of the week.”

Zooperstars airs Sundays at 11:15 a.m.
