Sani Pilif in metro bars
MANILA, Philippines - Pop quintet Sani Pilif (photo, Filipinas read backwards) is hitting the venues in the metro.
Fresh from its three-month stint in Marina Frappa Croatia in Europe, the five talented, lovely girls perform songs of Destiny’s Child, Alicia Keys, Pussycat Dolls, Beyonce Knowles. They sing and dance.
Sani Pilif heats up Metrowalk stage in Ortigas Ave. on Tuesday nights; Vue Bar of Bellevue Hotel Alabang, Wednesday nights; and H2 Club, Saturday nights.
The quintet is also doing different corporate and provincial shows with members Lou Yaranon (contralto); Laurice Trasmano (alto); Czarina Rosales (soprano 1); Kristine Casanada (soprano 2); and Rieyadh Velasquez (soprano).
Backing them up are resident musicians Elmer Dalumpines on keyboards; Mark Anthony Cruz, bass guitar; El Buidon, lead guitar; and Ron Baldueza, drums.
