Auditions for Flower Drum Song slated

MANILA, Philippines - Auditions for the principal roles in the new production of Flower Drum Song will be held at the CCP Bulwagang Amado Hernandez (Conference Room) on Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. The musical will be staged at the CCP from Oct. 15 to Nov. 7.

The production is in search of actors/singers/dancers for the following roles: Lead female Mei Li, 20s; and Madame Liang, 40s.

Previous experience in musical theater productions required. Come with two songs, one of which should be from the musical and the role that he/she wants to audition for. Bring musical score for piano if accompaniment is needed. Also be prepared to show a two-minute dance routine and do a short reading.

Those interested must bring bio-data, one close-up and one full body photo.
