Backroom artists celebrate V day

MANILA, Philippines - Ai-Ai delas Alas will be your funny Valentine as she sings her way into your hearts with Ai Am Your Valentine on Feb. 14 at the Tent City of the Manila Hotel. Joining her on stage are Janno Gibbs, Rufa Mae Quinto, Mark Bautista and Pilita Corrales. The show is produced by DR Production in cooperation with PAGCOR, PCSO, The Philippine Star, Manila Hotel and Manila Bulletin. Proceeds from the show will be given to the San Roque Church of Agmanic Santa Fe, Romblon.

Who will be Prince of Pop Erik Santos’ Valentine date? Although he continues to keep silent about matters of the heart, Erik will celebrate the love month by serenading audiences with songs of the heart in his show Heartsongs: An Intimate Valentine with Erik Santos on Feb. 12 and 13, 8 p.m. at Teatrino Promenade Greenhills. Joining him are Vina Morales (Feb. 12) and a special guest (Feb. 13). Heartsongs is presented by Sunday Night Productions and VTRANN Events. Tickets are available at P2,000 (VIP Platinum with Cocktails), P1,500 (VIP Gold), P1,000 (Silver) and P500 (Bronze). Erik is the special guest of Charice in her concert on Feb. 14 at the PICC Plenary Hall.

Sitti’s gentle and soothing voice will capture the romantic at heart with her shows on Feb. 4 (PIDSP Fellowship Night at Bayanihan Center, Unilab in Mandaluyong City); Feb. 5 (TG Tower, Cebu City); Feb. 6 (show at the Grand Caprice Ballroom in Cagayan de Oro); Feb. 10 (MetroBar); Feb. 11 (with the Sessionistas at La Salle, Lipa); Feb. 12 (Philippine Jazz Festival at Glorietta); Feb. 13 (Palawan); Feb. 15 (Crowne Plaza with Richard Poon); Feb. 20 (Zirkoh Morato with Richard Poon); and Feb. 27 (Casino Cebu).

Pooh lives up to his recognition as 2009 Best Comedy Actor of the PMPC Star Awards for Television. With his natural flair in comedy, he can make even the loneliest princess laugh with his impersonations of Manny Pacquiao, Mike Velarde and Ogie Alcasid. He can also melt anyone’s cold heart this Valentine’s Day with his riotous performance on his shows: Feb. 5 (Green Leisure Suites, Cabanatuan); Feb. 13 (Lanao del Norte); and Feb. 17 and 28 (Japan). On Feb.19 and 20, Pooh will have a concert titled Poohlish Heart at the Music Museum. The concert is produced by ASAP Productions.

K Brosas performs at the APO Hiking Society concert titled Last Valentine nAPO on Feb. 13 at the SMX Convention Center. She will fly to Australia for her shows in Melbourne (Feb. 19) and Sydney (Feb. 20). K will have a show in Lucena on Feb. 27 with Jed Madela. K will celebrate her ninth year in showbiz with a concert titled K-9 at Crossroads in Panay Avenue. Special guests are Erik Santos on Feb. 26 and Pooh, March 5.
