JoAnne Lorenzana sets SM mall shows

MANILA, Philippines - JoAnne Lorenzana, who migrated to San Francisco in 2005, is back with her new album, Between Seasons. The album recorded in the US features guest musicians from the San Francisco Bay area and includes collaborations with composers Jimmy Borja and Andrei Dionisio.

Also in the album are arrangements by Jimmy Antiporda. JoAnne gives an acoustic-pop-rock guitar feel to Linda Perry’s ’90s hit (covered by Christina Aguilera) Beautiful, the first single off the album.

Other songs are Between Seasons, Look of Love and Suddenly I Feel June, You’re Hiding, the pop ballad Kung Kasama Ka, Beyond Ago, and the pop gospel ballad Tumawag Ka Lang.

Keith Martin and Diana Dayao collaborated in composing the pop R&B song You’re Hiding. JoAnne worked with Jimmy Borja in Kung Kasama Ka and with musician-husband Brant Blower in Beyond Ago.

Some of JoAnne’s performance dates are in SM Taytay tomorrow, Jan. 24 with Chad as guest; SM Mall of Asia on Jan. 30 with nephew Guji Lorenzana and Jan Nieto; SM Dasmariñas, Feb. 21 with Chad; and SM Marikina Mall, Feb. 27 with Guji and Chad.
