Greg Martin's boyish charm

In the ’50s, Greg Martin was one of Sampaguita Pictures’ heartthrobs. His boyish charm — wholesome, educated, gentleman — appealed to many young girls — and elderly ladies, too.

One of Greg’s movies was Berdaderong Ginto, where he was paired with another newcomer, Barbara Perez.

But Greg didn’t stay long as an actor as he reportedly joined the foreign service. Perhaps, readers of The STAR could update this column on the whereabouts of Greg Martin.   — RKC
