• Jericho Rosales and KC Concepcion are starring in a yet untitled movie for Star Cinema, which will also star KC’s dad Gabby Concepcion and to be directed by Maryo J. delos Reyes. This piece of good news was relayed to Funfare by Jericho’s manager Angeli Pangilinan who said that shooting will start in January next year.

• Yes, it’s true: Dr. Vicki Belo and her “constant companion” Dr. Hayden Kho stayed overnight at Eskaya, an A-list resort in Tagbilaran City two weekends ago. That’s the same place where an actor created a drunken “big scene” in-between the shoot of a movie a few weeks ago. The Tagbi city council has passed a resolution declaring Hayden persona non-grata at the height of the video scandal. Why!?! Did Hayden commit any wrongdoing against the Boholanos?

• My heart goes out to this young actor who can’t help but shed tears everytime he’s asked how his actor-father is. It turns out that the father left his wife and children for another (younger) woman three years ago. He rubbed salt on the family wounds by telling his poor wife and children, “Nagsisisi ako na kayo ang naging pamilya ko!” Ouch! It really hurts, doesn’t it?

•  Birthday greetings (today) to scientist Gloria Asprer of the Dept. of Energy.

What does Michael Jackson remind one and all again everytime during the Christmas season? Yes, give love...no better gift is there than love.

At the rate showbiz folks are bumping heads even over the most petty things (such as not being greeted at social functions), it’s too much to expect them to “give love” because their hearts are so full of hatred.

Just the same, Funfare is wishing that, even if they can’t give each oher love, they at least observe the age-old tradition of exchanging gifts.

• Dr. Hayden Kho to Katrina Halili and Maricar Reyes: The ashes of burned copies of their incriminating videos and also a duly notarized promissory note not really not to do it again but never to do it again with a hidden video running;

• Katrina and Maricar to Hayden: A “surprise” video of Hayden making a confession to a woman-shaped pineapple in a moonlit night somewhere in Tagaytay;

• Dr. Vicki to Hayden: A remix version of Careless Whisper, complete with a Minus One and a literature on how to dance to it sensuously;

• Jennylyn Mercado to Patrick Garcia: A close-up photo of their love son with this reminder: “Ikaw Papa ko!”

• Patrick to Jennylyn: A bankbook in the name of their love son with the monthly sustento duly recorded;

• Ruffa Gutierrez to estranged husband Yilmaz Bektas: Divorce papers sealed with a kiss;

• Yilmaz to Ruffa: A duly notarized promissory note that he will never text her again, not ever!

• Ruffa to John Lloyd Cruz: A talking doll that looks like her;
