Disney On Ice at the Big Dome

MANILA, Philippines - Have a Disney Christmas when the all-new Disney On Ice presents a Disneyland Adventure comes to the Araneta Coliseum for a series of shows from Dec. 25, 2009 to Jan. 3, 2010. Produced by Feld Entertainment, the original, fun-filled story features Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they try to take their own vacation to Disneyland. During the one-of-a-kind show, audiences will meet beloved Disney characters and experience famed attractions all brought to life on ice.

“Only this show offers audiences the chance to experience Disneyland, and to see Mickey Mouse and Disney/Pixar’s The Incredibles in a brand-new adventure,” said producer Kenneth Feld. “Children and adults alike will find this ice spectacular both familiar and unexpected at the same time.”

The adventure begins when Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto hit the road for their own vacation to Disneyland. They get more than they bargained for when the evil fairy Maleficent summons up her powers to put the Magic Kingdom under a sleeping spell. Mickey must enlist the aid of The Incredibles to put things right again.

“This show is truly reminiscent of Disney theme park experiences and the crowd can create park memories with Mickey and his friends,” said Feld. “Each show moment takes audiences to lands beyond their imagination just like the parks do for so many families.”
