Mel & Joey goes to Switzerland

MANILA, Philippines - The third leg of the five European country anniversary sojourn of GMA 7’s Mel & Joey is a dream come true for its hosts, staff and crew.

Hosts Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon take us to the Land of the Alps — Switzerland, tonight.

First stop is the residence of expat Anna Hefti for Hanep Bahay. It is a beautiful farm house covered with snow. Next is an interview with former comedienne Evelyn Vargas who is doing good and happy. Then there is a visit to a young Filipino Diva Lica de Guzman whose artistic talent makes waves and raves.

Mel and Joey take us to Geneva and also to the Old Town & Calvin Museum to know more about the Swiss history and culture. And do you know that Mel & Joey was the very first TV media group allowed entry to the world’s largest research institute, the CERN, where the worldwide web was discovered and one of the resident scientists is a Pinoy?
