Celebs dress to impress

MANILA, Philippines - A magnificent stage, elegant dresses, attention-grabbing celebrities and models — all these impressed guests as couturier Arielle Agasang celebrated his birthday and anniversary at the Centennial Room of the Manila Hotel recently.

The fashion event featured the 2010 Haute Couture Collections, a coffee table book featuring 100 Filipino luminaries wearing Agasang’s couture creations and a photo exhibit.

The nearly one-hour fashion show was a spectacle on the ramp. ‘My fashion philosophy is that clothes should reflect the wearer’s individuality and uniqueness. I imbibe this philosophy and bring into play my talent and fashion-forward thinking approach to fashion to craft unique, richly colored, intricate yet comprehensible designs for every client. This makes my designs transcend time, genres and convention,’ says Arielle.
