Sizzling at 79

MANILA, Philippines - How can this lady look so gorgeous and ‘silvery’ seductive at age 79? That’s Armida ‘Tita Midz’ Siguion-Reyna’s secret. Obviously, Tita Midz is, unlike most women, not ‘ashamed’ to reveal her age because she doesn’t look it anyway. To celebrate her 79th birthday (Nov. 4), Tita Midz invited friends to a party last night at Whitespace in Makati City, reminding her well-wishers in the invite: ‘No gifts or flowers, please, but do come prepared to eat, drink, sing, dance and laugh out loud.’ And that’s exactly what happened. Actually, it was a double celebration, with Tita Midz’s son, director Carlitos Siguion-Reyna also as honoree. He turned 52 also yesterday.
