Lebanese community helps Laguna town

MANILA, Philippines - The Filipino-Lebanese Friendship Community headed by businessman Abdul Kader Al Jadid distributed relief bags to affected townsfolk of Paete, Laguna last Oct. 10.

The relief goods consisted of rice, canned goods, rice noodles and bathroom products. Together with members of the Lebanese friendship community. Yasmien Kurdi helped in handing out more than 1,500 bags to families whose houses went under water due to rise of Laguna Lake. Photo shows Yasmien and Al Jadid taking a break from their relief efforts. With them were Paete volunteers.
