NU107 Rock Awards set for Oct. 30

MANILA, Philippines - All roads will lead to the World Trade Center on Oct. 30 for NU107 Rock Awards ’09: High Definition. This year, Rock Awards presents what the state of the local rock scene is. NU107 Rock Awards ’09 will focus on artists who are on top of their game and have reached the summit of OPM supremacy.

The awards will feature live performances from Chicosci, The Dawn, Franco, Greyhoundz, Itchyworms, Juan Pablo Dream, Kamikaze, Kjwan, Pupil, Rico Blanco, Sandwich, Sugarfree, Up Dharma Down and Urbandub. There will also be performances from Duster, Turbo Goth & The Lowtechs in the pre-show. Tickets are available at all SM Ticketnet outlets and at the Araneta Coliseum box office.

The awards night is presented by Red Horse Beer Muziklaban, Smart Buddy, Clear, Nokia Music, Converse, Frenzy, Levi’s Loop, The Philippine STAR, Gateway Computers, JB Music, Click to Print, Aquaknox Restaurant, Hard Rock Café, Artwork, Basement Salon and MTV Philippines.
