Greenhills as a shopping paradise
MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Tourism launched in September last year Shopfest 2008 to promote the country as ideal destination for shoppers from different countries.
This is an annual festival the country offers for tourists and foreign shoppers.
The Philippines offers world-class products and goods in its modern malls and shopping venues.
Leading malls and retail outlets are participants in this festival. They offer special discounts and various activities. Shoppers can find quality local brands of RTWs, shoes and other accessories. Filipino brands are competitively priced and can be compared with those from other countries.
The Greenhills Shopping Complex is among participating malls. Greenhills is the venue of the 16th Philippine Toys, Gifts, Housewares and Christmas Decors Fair from Oct. 9 to Nov. 2. Showcased are modern and antique furniture and furnishings, leather goods, arts and crafts, semi-precious jewelry and pearls, cellphones and accessories and other products.
