Demi Lovato stars in Disney comedy series

MANILA, Philippines - How would you like to get behind the scenes of a Hollywood production?

Join Sonny Munroe (portrayed by teen sensation Demi Lovato from the movie Camp Rock), who after posting homemade comedy videos on-line, is discovered by a TV producer and gets the chance to star in the most popular sketch comedy series for kids and tweens — So Random. Now, Sonny must adjust to the Hollywood way of life with fellow young actors — the resident teen queen Tawni (Tiffany Thornton), super suave Nico, gregarious funnyman Grady and quirky Zora, and heartthrob Chad Dyan Cooper (Sterling Knight), star of the popular drama series McKenzie Falls, which films on adjacent stage.

Sonny quickly learns Chad’s ego is more than she could handle and that there’s a long-standing rivalry between the two casts.

Sonny with a Chance premieres Oct. 17 at 9:30 p.m. and airs every Saturday and Sunday on Disney Channel.
