Welcome to mommy-to-mommy bonding
MANILA, Philippines - One full week of mommy to mommy bonding is up ahead as Full Time Moms takes off this week on Q-11.
Hosted by moms Suzi Entrata-Abrera and Christine Jacob-Sandejas, and directed by Bibeth Orteza-Siguion Reyna (a mother herself), Full Time Moms aims to empower, educate, and entertain mothers — and other viewers as well — from all walks of life starting tonight at 7:30.
Asked how important it is for moms to have a guide on motherhood, Christine answers, “It’s just nice to know that you are not alone because raising a child is not easy. That’s why there are a lot of books on parenting which are based on the similar experiences most moms share in rearing a child.”
Suzi adds, “I think all mothers have their own style of parenting. With a show like Full Time Moms, moms can learn and be inspired by the experiences of our guests. So hopefully, hearing about other mothers with the same concerns will inspire moms out there to keep on trying to do a good job everyday.”
On what to expect from the show, Suzi says, “Viewers can expect mommy to mommy bonding, experts sharing their knowledge on the topic at hand, funny skits, interesting man-on-the-street surveys, and one hour of entertainment every weeknight on Q!”
For its pilot episode tonight, Suzi and Christine will have a candid chitchat with the hot all-girl trio La Divas. Known individually as Jonalyn, Aicel and Maricris, the girls talk about their journey to success and the all-out support of their parents. Also in the show are comedians Tess Bomb and Buboy Ipus who will teach moms a thing or two about being stage mothers.
Suzi and Christine discuss pregnancy tomorrow, Oct. 13 with guests Nancy Castiglione and Cheska Garcia-Kramer. Highlights of the lively discussion are handling multiple pregnancies, first time pregnancies, and sexual relations during pregnancy.
Take a closer look at the strong bond between Kuh Ledesma and daughter Isabella on Oct. 14. Heartwarming and intimate, the episode allows moms to learn valuable parenting lessons from this unique mother-daughter relationship.
On Oct. 15, Suzi and Christine will have a fun discussion about long-lasting friendships with the barkada of Tirso Cruz III, Mark Gil, Bembol Roco, and Rez Cortez. Fondly called “Guts,” these friends-for-life talk about friendship among men, openly admit their faults and transitions in life, and play a couple of games on the set that bring out the little boys in them.
Suzi and Christine discuss the many ways to overcome stress on Oct. 16. Joining them are husband and wife Gerard and Jan Marini Pizaras, who talk about coping with Gerard’s Bell’s Palsy, and Rochelle Barrameda and Jimuel Stevens, who share the ways they handle the stress of marriage and the loss of Rochelle’s sister while going through a new pregnancy.
