Sam Bradley at SM Supermalls
MANILA, Philippines - Twilight fans who can’t get enough of the iconic vampire movie will have the rare chance to touch base with Sam Bradley (photo), a contributor to the movie’s soundtrack and best friend of Robert Pattinson as he makes a tour of the SM Supermalls this month.
Project Sam, his mall tour, will start at SM Megamall tomorrow, Oct. 9, proceed to SM Mall of Asia on Oct. 10; The Podium, Oct. 11; SM City Clark, Oct. 14; SM Southmall, Oct. 15; SM City Cebu, Oct. 17; and SM City Sta. Rosa, Oct. 18. It will be his first performance in the Philippines.
Bradley’s prolific output is a clever and clean combination of soul, folk, and rock music — though the constancy of his sound unifies the varying genres. His song, Too Far Gone, which he co-wrote with Pattinson made its way into the soundtrack in Pattinson’s version Never Think.
Twilight OST instantly made its way into the No. 1 spot in the Billboard Charts and gave Bradley the jumpstart he needed to begin production on his first formal album — not to mention, touring. Bradley’s live performances are a mixture of charming anecdotes and cultural affluence — a colorful array of potent originality and diversity — and are well known for being unforgettable.
Bradley’s first polished self-titled album was released last Aug. 29. Already sold out, the limited release album includes songs such as Sea Blue, which has received 300,000 plays on his My Space page. The album also includes five other songs: Eugene, Derek, Pretty Boy, Passport, and It Begins.
Project Sam is presented by SM Supermalls, SM Cinemas, Dusit Thani Manila, Kodak, Nutri Snack, MTV Philippines and 1979 Entertainment.
