The diva sings with the debonair
MANILA, Philippines - When it comes to performing, nobody does it better than Pilita Corrales and Rico J. Puno. Whenever they set foot on stage, it’s always a guaranteed show-stopper.
On Nov. 13 and 14, Pilita and Rico J. will perform back-to-back in their first major concert titled The Diva and The Debonair at the Music Museum. The concert is produced by Twin Towers and Company with sponsorships from Regroe, Pregroe 4inOne, Lika Catering Services and Gluta White and Firm.
Pilita’s career has been a storied one. Her career in music began when she became the first woman to release a single that topped the Australian pop charts before Helen Reddy, Kylike Minogue and Olivia Newton-John. She followed that with a string of hits and best-selling albums both in the Philippines and in Asia, the reason why she’s called Asia’s Queen of Songs.
Rico J. is one of those who have remained consistently active in showbiz since he started in 1975. His career has spanned three decades. Rico J. won awards and performed all over the world including sold-out shows in the US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Dubai, Australia and Europe.
