Santino shares his blessings

MANILA, Philippines - Around 150 kids gathered in Manila Ocean Park last Saturday for Zaijan Jaranilla’s (Santino in May Bukas Pa) birthday bash.

Little ones with their parents enjoyed the sight of the different underwater creatures in aquariums. What added to the amusement of the kids and their guardians was the fact that the stars of the primetime series, May Bukas Pa, also spent time with them.

Games and giveaways came from sponsors as kids from the Home of Love, Sagip Kabataan and winners from ABS-CBN Interactive promo and 101.9 For Life enjoyed afternoon along with ABS-CBN’s PR manager Aaron Domingo and staff Cet Calleja . What really made their day was the presence of miracle boy Santino. Participants cheered as he came out of the stage and interacted with the kids.

“I want children like me to be happy. I’m happy because I see them enjoying the presentation of ABS-CBN and May Bukas Pa,” Zaijan said.

According to Ethel Espiritu, production manager of May Bukas Pa, Zaijan loves the water and so holding the party in Manila Ocean Park is a perfect choice. “Water person kasi si Zaijan. Thus, the staff were on in their decision to hold the party in Manila Ocean Park.”
