VIPs shop at Greenhills

MANILA, Philippines - Not only ordinary shoppers and bargain hunters shop at the Greenhills Shopping Complex but also big names in showbiz, business and sports. It was even reported that the Queen of Spain visited Greenhills. US Ambassador Kristie Kenney brought friends and relatives to Greenhills.

During trade fairs and exhibits, VIPs mingle with shoppers and bargain hunters.

Why do they shop at Greenhills?

Albert Castro, coordinator of Prime Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers (PATEPCO), a pioneer trade fair and consumer exhibitor in Greenhills, said VIPs are treated as ordinary shoppers. They can go around, dine, shop, play and while away without anybody disturbing them.

He said in Greenhills one meets personalities like Claudine Barretto, Caridad Sanchez, Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago, Ronnie Magsanoc and many more.

Some VIPs visit Greenhills because of South Sea pearls.

He said the Moro pearl shops in Greenhills have become a paradise for pearl shoppers.

The Greenhillls pearl market has been written about in magazines like Vogue.

The 16th National Arts & Antiques Show will be held from Sept. 14 to Oct. 8.
