Erich & Ejay team up in Katorse

MANILA, Philippines - ABS-CBN’s Katorse will fire up the careers of Erich Gonzales, Ejay Falcon, Xian Lim and Enchong Dee. They are set to invade the TV screens tomorrow, Aug. 24.

“I still can’t believe I’ll be taking on a lead role in a series, a dream come true I must say,” Erich says. She will give life to Nena, who at a young age is confronted with difficulties and complexities.

Ejay will portray Gabby, the “bad boy” in the series.

“When I was told that I will be one of the main cast members of the Katorse TV-remake, I was really overjoyed. Katorse is a big break on my part,” Xian shares. The athlete-turned-model actor will breathe life to Albert, Gabby’s elder brother, and will complete the love triangle.

“I’m just thankful for the opportunities and to the trust given to me by the management,” Enchong says. The swimmer actor will play Jojo, Gabby’s best friend who will stand up for Nena once she gets pregnant.

Directed by Malu Sevilla, Katorse touches on real life issues facing adolescents, like love, responsibility, and parenthood. The series also tackles a moving love story.
